Permanent Jewelry FAQ
Most Asked Questions
What is Permanent Jewelry?
Customed fitted piece of chain on your wrist, anklet, neck, hand, etc, without a clasp.
We take a jumpring and weld it together, so you don't have to worry about a clasp ever again.
What is the process of getting permanent jewelry?
Come to one of our events, or host a private party and you will select which ever chain(s) and charms/connectors to make a unique bracelet, anklet, necklace, etc.
Once you have sat down, you will get custom fitted to the size you prefer, and once you give us the okay we will weld the jumpring together and cut the access off the chain off.
The welder does create a small spark, so you are required to wear protective glasses or look away while the welding is in process.
How long does the average chain last?
I started this business July 1st 2023 and have had multiple chains put on right when i started and still have them on.
I know other business owners that have had theirs on for 4-5 years.
Although there is no set answer, it all depends on your lifestyle, and your environment. We do the best we can to provide you a secure and high quality piece, but jewelry is inherently delicate!
What happens if my chain breaks or falls off?
All sales are final, and I do not offer refunds. BUT I am more than willing to repair and re-weld the chain for free, as long as you still have the chain!
You can get a re-weld by scheduling an appointment at our shop space in Highland, IL OR visiting us at one of our markets!

Chain/Charm FAQs
What metals are our chains made of?
So Golden carries 14k gold filled, 925 sterling sivler, 14k rose gold filled, and stainless steel options.
You can live your normal life while wearing these chains without having to worry about them. Showering, swimming, working out, traveling, is all apart of the normal life that these chains can handle!
How do I properly care for my chains and charms?
To help keep your jewelry looking its best, please avoid prolonged exposure to chemicals whenever possible.
If you apply lotions, oils, sunscreen, bug spray, self-tanner, or other skincare products, we recommend rinsing your jewelry with clean water afterward to help remove any residue.
Please note that certain lifestyle and environmental factors—such as highly acidic skin, sulfur (which can be present in some water sources), certain beauty products, or your body's natural pH—may cause the gold layer to wear more quickly over time. These factors are beyond our control, so we cannot guarantee against wear caused by these conditions.
While I have not experienced this issue myself, we believe it's important to be transparent so you know how to best care for your jewelry.
My chain keeps breaking, what should we do?
Permanent jewelry is intentionally designed to break under excessive pressure for your safety. This helps prevent injury if the jewelry becomes caught or snagged.
If you find that your bracelet is breaking frequently, permanent jewelry may not be the best fit for your lifestyle. We'd be happy to add a clasp so you can continue enjoying your custom-fit jewelry while making it easier to remove when needed.
If your permanent bracelet, necklace, anklet, or other piece breaks along the chain (rather than at the weld), we will add a second jump ring during the repair to help reinforce that area.
Additional FAQ's
I need to take it off, what do i do?
If you need to remove your chain, look for the circle piece that was welded (the jumpring) and carefully use a pair of scissor or wire cutters.
Once you are ready to get the chain put back on, come see us at an event or message us to schedule a time to meet to get it rewelded.
I change my mind, what now?
Sad to hear you've changed your mind. Because each piece is custom-fitted and made specifically for you, all sales are final.
If you decide you'd prefer removable jewelry, we'd be happy to add a clasp to your piece for you. However, refunds or exchanges are not available.
My chain broke, do I get a refund?
No. It is stated in our contest form, and multiple times on the website that all sales are final.
We will reweld the chain on, or add a clasp to help fit your lifestyle.
